Is the ATS Health Check free?
Yes. You can scan a PDF or Word CV without creating an account. The file is read in your browser and is not uploaded to or saved by CVExpert.
Does a high result mean every ATS will accept my CV?
No. Employers configure different systems and screening rules. This tool applies six fixed checks and explains every point; it cannot predict whether you will be shortlisted.
Can the tool inspect my CV design or PDF layout?
It can flag common risks such as columns, Word tables, text boxes, header or footer content and PDF pages with little selectable text. These are useful signals, not a complete simulation of every ATS parser.
Does the ATS Health Check use AI?
No. It uses fixed rules in your browser for text extraction, structure, formatting risks, contact details, length and measurable evidence.
