What this policy covers

This policy describes how CVExpert collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you visit the website, join early access, or use the private-beta product.

Information we collect

• Account information, including your email address and sign-in activity.
• Career information you provide, such as goals, preferences, compensation expectations, work authorization, CV content, and coaching messages.
• Job-search information, including saved jobs, application materials, statuses, notes, and public professional-profile links you choose to save.
• Basic technical and security information, such as timestamps, IP addresses in server logs, error records, and abuse-prevention signals.
• Website analytics information, such as pages visited, referring source, campaign parameters, approximate location, device type, engagement time, clicks, scroll depth, and early-access form completion. We do not send the email address or other form-field values to analytics. Our first-party visitor summary stores a keyed, pseudonymous visitor identifier instead of a raw IP address or full browser user agent.

How we use information

We use your information to provide accounts, career coaching, document generation, job-fit analysis, application tracking, networking organization, customer support, security, product improvement, and service communications. We do not sell candidate profiles or use them to make hiring decisions for employers.

AI processing

When you request coaching or application assistance, relevant profile, CV, job, and conversation content may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the requested result. CVExpert is designed to request non-persistent API processing where available. Generated output can be inaccurate and must be reviewed before use.

Service providers

We use infrastructure, security, website analytics, email-delivery, and AI-processing providers that process information on our behalf. Website analytics is limited to the public marketing pages and is not used to record private CV, coaching, application, or account content. We may also share information when required by law, to protect the service or a person, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and your choices

Product data is retained while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, and operational obligations. You can export or delete product data from account settings. Early-access mailing records and suppression preferences are handled separately; email [email protected] to update them. First-party page-view records are retained for up to 90 days.

Security and limitations

We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted production systems, backups, and monitoring appropriate to the private beta. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not provide government identifiers, financial-account details, health records, passwords, or other information that is unnecessary for a job search.

Children

CVExpert is intended for adults seeking employment and is not directed to children under 18.
